How much disruption does interior painting cause?

Rooms are worked in sequence so the whole home is never out of use at once. Furniture is moved and covered, floors are protected, and each day ends with the space put back in usable order. Apartments make up a large share of Vancouver's housing stock, while single-detached homes, duplexes and row houses remain common in ground-oriented neighbourhoods.

How is prep handled on older Vancouver homes?

Older plaster and previously painted trim need filling, sanding and the right primer before any finish coat, and that prep is quoted rather than assumed.

How many coats will my walls need?

It depends on the colour change and the surface. Going darker to lighter, or covering a strong colour, usually needs more coats than refreshing a similar shade. The quote states the number of coats so it is not decided mid-job.

Do I need to be home while you paint?

No. Access is arranged at the estimate and most clients carry on as normal. We agree the working hours and the sequence of rooms in advance.
